Well, OK, obviously I'm not in Las Vegas in the image above but we did start and end up there! Seriously though, I got back a few days ago after spending some time in Las Vegas at an awesome photography conference and tradeshow. After the conference, a small group of photographers headed out for a landscape photography workshop led by the talented and uber-cool couple, Prem & Cheridy of Arising Images. Prem's landscape work is outstanding.
Our four day itinerary consisted of Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase, Lake Powell area, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, the Grand Canyon and finally back to Vegas via Route 66. Whew. Makes me tired just typing it! I'm still working through my images from the trip, so over the next week or so I'll post entries for the individual areas with a few of my favorite images. But to start, that's a self portrait above, in the morning at Zion National Park. Happy and cold with 20 lbs. of camera equipment on my back!
